Job summary

Transmedic in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to plan and oversee warehouse, logistics and daily operations. You will lead and coach the operations team to achieve competency, optimize resources and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

The role requires a 3+ year track record in warehousing and inventory control, with strong leadership and analytical skills to meet market demand in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Knowledge in warehouse operations and inventory control is essential.
• Excellent leadership, organization, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the overall operation, warehouse, logistic and ensuring the daily operations are carried out smoothly, efficiently and in compliance to the company’s SOPs & guidelines from regulatory bodies.
• Lead, supervise, coach and train the operation team to meet competency requirements in their responsibilities.
• Inventory control including inventory accuracy, healthy inventory level and permanent consignment.
• Meet sales team’s requests (assets & inventory).
• Optimize utilization of resources such as manpower, medical consumables & equipment, facilities and storage to meet market demand.
• Solve problems and elevate overall performance of the operation team.
• Discuss & monitor inventory level & costing with sales manager to meet market demand.
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met.
• Cultivate a culture of professionalism among team members.
• Periodically review the SOP.
• Perform any other function as assigned.
