Job summary

Aramex Malaysia (Selangor) is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to drive daily operations, optimize resources, and achieve service and delivery targets. You will plan and allocate resources to meet demand and monitor KPIs to maintain quality.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, warehouse efficiency, safety compliance, and adoption of new technologies to boost performance across the distribution network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain.
• Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing large teams and fast-paced operational environments.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, process improvement, and safety regulations.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations to ensure service, productivity, and performance targets are achieved.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands and delivery commitments.
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs, driving efficiency while maintaining service quality.
• Oversee sorting and warehouse operations to maximize productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Develop contingency and incident management plans to minimize operational disruptions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve productivity, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Evaluate improvement initiatives and ensure sustainable outcomes across the operation.
• Foster a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage utilization, and workflow processes.
• Review warehouse layouts and operational practices to optimize space, safety, and efficiency.
• Ensure alignment of warehouse strategies with business and operational objectives.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and operational tools to improve performance.
• Lead operational technology projects and ensure successful implementation.
• Assess the effectiveness of technology solutions and identify opportunities for further improvements.
• Promote awareness and adoption of innovative solutions across the operation.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and company policies.
• Promote a strong safety culture and drive corrective actions for non-compliance issues.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to protect people, assets, and business continuity.
• Regularly review emergency response and crisis management procedures.
• Lead, coach, and develop operations teams to achieve high performance.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline.
• Support employee development through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Communicate operational priorities and performance expectations clearly across the team.
