The role requires coordinating audits, training staff on food safety and halal practices, and maintaining accurate documentation and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of QA experience in food manufacturing or central kitchen.
• Familiar with Malaysian food regulations, HALAL certification, and food safety standards.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and audit handling skills.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Korean is an advantage.

Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance & Halal

The Quality Assurance & Halal Assistant Manager ensures all food products from the central kitchen meet safety, quality, and halal compliance standards. This role supports daily operations by overseeing quality control, conducting audits, managing certification requirements, and ensuring consistent adherence to regulatory and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, HALAL, MESTI, and other relevant certifications.
• Conduct daily quality checks, hygiene audits, and non-compliance investigations.
• Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished goods quality monitoring.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including halal certification processes and renewals.
• Provide training and awareness to staff on food safety, hygiene, and halal practices.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to address quality or formulation issues.
• Manage documentation, SOPs, and traceability records for quality and halal processes.

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, Food Tech, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of QA experience in food manufacturing or central kitchen environment.
• Familiar with Malaysian food regulations, HALAL certification, and food safety standards.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and audit handling skills.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; knowledge of Korean is an advantage.
