Job summary

EMART24 HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance & Halal to ensure all central kitchen food products meet safety, quality, and halal standards. You will oversee quality control, audits, certifications, and regulatory adherence, partnering with production and R&D to resolve issues.

The role requires coordinating audits, training staff on food safety and halal practices, and maintaining accurate documentation and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of QA experience in food manufacturing or central kitchen.
• Familiar with Malaysian food regulations, HALAL certification, and food safety standards.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and audit handling skills.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Korean is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, HALAL, MESTI, and other certifications.
• Conduct daily quality checks, hygiene audits, and non-compliance investigations.
• Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished goods quality monitoring.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including halal certification processes and renewals.
• Provide training on food safety, hygiene, and halal practices.
• Collaborate with production and R&D to address quality or formulation issues.
• Manage documentation, SOPs, and traceability records for quality and halal processes.
