Job summary

OASIS HARVEST CORPORATION seeks a Halal Compliance Specialist to oversee Halal standards across our restaurants and central kitchens. You will coordinate certification, renewal, and audit prep with authorities, and lead inspections to uphold Halal status of ingredients and suppliers.

You will maintain documentation, train staff, and collaborate with Ops, Procurement, QA, R&D, and outlets to ensure strict Halal adherence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Halal-related field as listed.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in restaurant, kopitiam, central kitchen or multi-outlet F&B is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Halal requirements and certification processes.
• Experience dealing with JAKIM/JAIN or Halal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Halal compliance across restaurants, kopitiams, central kitchens, and related operations.
• Coordinate Halal certification, renewal, documentation, and audit preparation with authorities.
• Conduct regular Halal inspections and internal audits at outlets and kitchen operations.
• Verify Halal status of ingredients, products, suppliers, and related materials.
• Maintain updated Halal certificates, supplier records, ingredient lists, audit reports, and other docs.
• Work with Operations, Procurement, Central Kitchen, QA, R&D, and outlet teams to ensure Halal requirements are followed.
• Conduct Halal awareness and compliance training for restaurant and kitchen staff.
• Identify Halal compliance risks, follow up on corrective actions, and prepare reports for management.
• Support Halal compliance for new outlet openings and new menu/product development.

Requirements

• Experience in restaurant, kopitiam, central kitchen, or multi-outlet F&B operations is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Halal requirements and certification processes.
• Experience dealing with JAKIM/JAIN or Halal certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel between multiple outlets and operational locations.
