Job summary

Food Excellence Specialist Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Quality Assurance Executive to uphold and improve the Quality Management System across raw materials to finished goods. You will liaise with auditors, drive corrective actions, and ensure products meet customer requirements.

You will lead internal food safety audits, support cross-department problem solving, and take charge in the absence of the QA Manager. Fresh graduates may also apply for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Management, Quality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–6 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control management, preferably in the flavor, food or beverage industry.
• Recognized Halal Executive competency certificate is required.
• Knowledge of Halal, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and DOSH/JKKP requirements.
• OSH Coordinator training or certification is an advantage.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant food-manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Good documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and perform hands-on factory inspections.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing understanding, implementation and continual improvement.
• Ensure materials and finished products meet quality and safety standards from raw materials to finished goods.
• Support and consult other departments on problem analysis and corrective actions.
• Liaise with external certification bodies and auditors on audits and report findings.
• Ensure quality performance of products to meet customer requirements.
• Lead internal audits of Food Safety System (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and implement corrective actions.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned and lead in QA Manager's absence.

Job description

Ensure the overall Quality Management System is understood, implemented and maintained from time to time, reporting and recommending to management of continual improvement of such programs

Make sure that everything from raw materials to finished products meets quality and safety standards.

Support and consult other departments in problem analysis and corrective action.

Liaison with external certification body, auditor on all quality/manufacturing audits and reports summary findings.

Quality related performance of company's product to meet customer requirement.

Responsible for applying and internal audit of Food Safety System documentation & implementation ( e.g HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, BRC, IFS, HALAL)

Handle any other task assigned by superior

Job Requirements
