Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in food science, food technology, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, HALAL requirements and food safety systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, HALAL requirements, and other food safety standards.
• Assist in preparing documentation, reports, and records for audits and certifications.
• Monitor production processes to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Support QA Manager in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain product quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related certificates.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC within the food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, HALAL requirements, and food safety systems.
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in frozen food manufacturing is an added advantage.
