Job summary

HABIB Group is seeking an Assistant Manager, HR Operations to lead the HR Operations team and act as a strategic partner to business units. You will oversee end-to-end employee processes, drive recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and streamline HR workflows with automation.

The role requires deep knowledge of the employee lifecycle, labor law compliance, and strong HRIS/data reporting capabilities. You will collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organisational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years HR Operations or HR Generalist experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory/assistant manager role.
• Deep knowledge of the employee lifecycle and labor law compliance.
• Experience administering HRIS for data integrity and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting business leaders as an HR partner.

This position involves overseeing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring effective HR service delivery, and acting as a strategic partner to business units. Job Responsibility:

• Lead and mentor the HR Operations team; collaborate with the HR Manager on objectives and continuous improvement.

Job Requirement:

• Possess at least Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in HR Operations or HR Generalist roles, with at least 1 - 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
• Deep knowledge of the employee lifecycle and labor law compliance.
• Proven ability to administer, manage, and leverage an HRIS platform for data integrity and comprehensive reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in managing the entire employee lifecycle and supporting business leaders as an HR partner.
