Job summary

Gain City Best-Electric – Kajang, Selangor invites applications for a Finance role overseeing financial closing, reporting, and management accounts across outlets. You will ensure accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and cashflow reporting while strengthening internal controls and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting degree and professional qualifications, can handle full-set accounts, and lead a small finance team to deliver timely insights to Directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent is preferred.
• MIA membership is an added advantage.
• Able to handle full set of accounts independently
• Strong team player with proactive, minimal supervision
• Good oral and written communication skills - Mandarin speaking preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial closing process.
• Review accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Produce P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts.
• Monitor liquidity and working capital.
• Forecast payroll, rental, supplier and capital expenditure commitments.
• Identify cashflow risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Analyse outlet profitability and financial performance.
• Provide recommendations to improve profitability.
• Review daily sales reconciliation reports.
• Verify cash, card and e-wallet collections.
• Investigate discrepancies and unusual transactions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue reporting.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax matters and statutory requirements.
• Prepare management dashboards and KPI reports.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to Directors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Supervise Accounts Executive(s).
• Review work quality and performance.
• Train and develop finance team members.

• Strengthen finance SOPs and internal controls.


• Ensure compliance with company policies.

Management Reporting

• Present financial insights and recommendations to Directors.
