Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel; familiarity with OA/ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify details and submit Purchasing Requests for equipment spare parts and assemblies.
• Handle code applications for new inventory items.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics teams in China or Malaysia on purchasing matters.
• Organize and archive technical documents for the Equipment Department.
• Periodically audit stock levels of equipment spare parts and inventory.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

The Assistant Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting the development and execution of equipment maintenance plans, coordinating daily repairs, and managing spare parts procurement. Strong organizational, communication, and drafting skills are essential to ensure efficient and reliable equipment operations.

Job Description:

• Verify details (such as items names and codes) with related departments and submit Purchasing Request (PR) for equipment spare parts, wear parts, and various assemblies;
• Handle the application for codes for new inventory items;
• Coordinate with the Procurement and Logistics/Freight departments of China(head-quater) or Malaysia regarding equipment purchasing matters;
• Organize and archive technical documents, records, and other relevant paperworks for the Equipment Department;
• Periodically audit and report on the stock levels of equipment spare parts and related inventory;
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior;

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply;
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills;
• Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and components;
• Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, Excel);
• familiarity with OA and ERP systems is preferred;
• Competence in document organization and filing;
• Ability to handle pressure and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
