Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites applications for an Equipment Technician to support equipment handling, packing, and logistics activities. You will prepare units for calibration (Cal), coordinate outgoing shipments, and maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.

This role requires physical work, basic technical knowledge, and good coordination with internal teams and external service providers. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of electronic equipment handling is an advantage.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment.
• Detail-oriented and responsible with good documentation.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Pack and unpack equipment carefully to prevent damage during movement or shipment.
• Prepare equipment for calibration or external servicing.
• Arrange and coordinate shipment of equipment to vendors or customers.
• Perform basic functional checks before and after calibration/service.
• Update equipment records, tracking logs, and documentation accurately.
• Label, tag, and store equipment properly in designated areas.
• Assist in stock count and inventory control activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment storage area.
• Support ad-hoc technical and operational tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
