Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Technician to lead maintenance and troubleshooting groups, driving productivity and quality improvements. The role involves supervising technicians, training, and managing parts inventories while supporting equipment engineers with new ideas and projects.

The ideal candidate has over 3 years of Sr. Technician experience, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to supervise and apply problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical/mechatronic/electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as Sr. Technician.
• Strong analytical & interpersonal skills.
• Good supervisory & problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance & troubleshooting groups.
• Assist Equipment Engineer to implement new ideas, project and activities to improve productivity & quality.
• Conduct training for skill enhancement among Equipment technicians.
• Supervise subordinates to improve downtime & machine utilization.
• Assist superior to manage spare parts & inventories.
• To respond to superior needs.
• To take responsibility of leadership for the implementation, promotion, training and meeting all applicable regulatory requirements for QMS, EMS and OSHA as per designated in organization chart.
