Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage staff, and uphold service standards. You will coach sales staff, handle customer issues, recruit and train new hires, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining a customer-centric culture.

• Previous experience in optical retail management.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of optical products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in achieving sales targets through coaching and motivation.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members.
• Assist in maintaining operational efficiency by enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Oversee branch operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with administrative tasks and liaise with head office departments.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and foster a customer-centric culture.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing employee schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing levels to meet business needs.
