Job summary

PRO-MULTI AUTO PARTS (M) SDN BHD in Sungai Petani, Kedah seeks an Assistant Accounts Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations and report directly to Management. This role offers growth into a broader Accounts Manager position.

You will oversee a small accounts team, handle AP/AR and bank reconciliations, and contribute to financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management. A Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
• Familiar with Malaysian accounting and tax regulations
• Familiar with full e-Invoice process (validation to submission, archiving, regulatory compliance)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in using accounting software (AutoCount) and MS Office

We are seeking an ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS MANAGER to support day-to-day accounting operations and report directly to Management at PRO-MULTI AUTO PARTS (M) SDN BHD in Sungai Petani, Kedah, with the opportunity to grow into a broader managerial role (Accounts Manager).

What you'll be doing

Oversee a small Accounts team and day-to-day accounting operations.

Support Management with financial analysis, insights and recommendations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Prepare and review financial and management reports.

Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts.

Monitor and manage cash flow and financial controls.

Manage payroll calculations and monthly statutory submissions and payments.

Handle Banker’s Acceptance (BA) processing and related banking documentation.

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance (any related field)

Familiar with Malaysian Accounting and tax regulations

Familiar with full e-Invoice process (Validation to submission, archiving, and regulatory compliance)

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Proficient in using accounting software (SQL, AutoCount) and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
