Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd invites a seasoned Sales Team Lead to drive growth through distributor partnerships across Melaka. You will guide dealer networks, optimize activations, and deliver strong KPI performance in a fast-paced telecom environment.

The role requires six years in outdoor sales (telco/FMCG/retail) with at least three years of team leadership, excellent negotiation skills, and willingness to travel daily.

Qualifications

• SPM/Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Must base in Melaka and able to travel daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales team and coordinate with distributors to hit KPIs.
• Visit existing dealers daily to provide service and build relationships.
• Grow prepaid and postpaid dealer activations and loyalty.
• Conduct trade visits and provide tactical ground support for sales.
• Monitor market movements and gather market intelligence.
• Ensure dealers are trained on systems, products, selling techniques, incentives, and POSM.
• Plan and monitor sales promotions to expand U Mobile in assigned areas.

Job Summary

• To lead sales team and work closely with distributors in handling dealers’ portfolios in assigned areas & territories, with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• Lead sales team and work closely with distributors in planning & guiding to achieve KPIs assigned.
• To conduct daily visit existing dealers stores that sell U Mobile products to provide service, support and build relationship within the assigned areas.
• To build and drive the growth of prepaid & postpaid U Mobile active dealers target by:-
• Achieve assigned pyramid level dealers target.
• Continue deepening dealer’s loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Perform trade visit and provide tactical ground support to ensure optimum sales performance.
• Vigilant to market movement through market intelligence.
• Ensuring dealers have proper knowledge and training on:-
• System : Genuine and accurate activations through control system & system knowledge.
• Product : Full range of products.
• How to Sell : Accurate and correct information given.
• Incentives / Pyramid : Proper guidance in building loyalty.
• POSM : Latest & up to date POSM.
• To execute and monitor effectiveness of sales strategy and promotion plan to support expansion of U Mobile product & services in assigned areas & territories.

About You

• Education: Minimum SPM/Senior UEC or anything equivalent with a passing result.
• Must be based in Melaka.
• Must have own car and willing to travel daily.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in outdoor/field sales in telco/FMCG/retail or any relevant industry and 3 years of experience in managing team .
• Able to aggressively work with dealers to commit sales target given.
• Good communication/interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to cope with ad hoc tasks given.
