Job summary

U Mobile seeks a proactive Field Sales Executive to travel daily to dealer stores in Bintulu, Sarawak, support Sales & Distribution, and drive targets. You will expand touchpoints, run promotions, and strengthen dealer loyalty.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of outdoor sales experience and own a car. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: SPM/Senior UEC or equivalent with passing result.
• Must be based in Bintulu, Sarawak.
• Own car and willing to travel daily to outstation areas.
• 1–2 years of outdoor/field sales experience in telco/FMCG/retail or related industries.
• Able to aggressively work with dealers to meet sales targets.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to cope with ad hoc tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily visits to dealer stores to support Sales & Distribution activities and achieve targets.
• Execute and monitor sales promotions; seek new opportunities to expand UM touch points and pyramid.
• Deepen dealer loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Ensure dealers have knowledge on system activations, products, and selling approaches; provide training.
• Perform trade events and visits to provide ground support for optimum sales performance.
• Monitor market movements and gather market intelligence.

Job Summary

To conduct daily visits to dealers stores to support Sales & Distribution activities within assigned areas, with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• To conduct daily visit existing dealers stores that sell U Mobile products to provide service, support and build relationship within the assigned areas.
• To execute, monitor effectiveness of sales strategy/promotion plans and seek new opportunity to expand UM touch point & pyramid.
• Continue deepening dealer’s loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
• Ensuring dealers have proper knowledge and training on:-
• System : Genuine and accurate activations through control system & system knowledge.
• Product : Full range of products.
• How to Sell : Accurate and correct information given.
• Incentives / Pyramid : Proper guidance in building loyalty.
• POSM : Latest & up to date POSM.
• To perform trade events, visit and provide tactical ground support to ensure optimum sales performance.
• Vigilant to market movement through market intelligence.

About You

• Education: Minimum SPM/Senior UEC or anything equivalent with a passing result.
• Must be based in Bintulu, Sarawak.
• Must have own car and willing to travel daily to outstation area.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in outdoor/field sales in telco/FMCG/retail or any relevant industry.
• Able to aggressively work with dealers to commit sales target given.
• Good communication/interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to cope with ad hoc tasks given.
