Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced Lead Sales Team member to oversee dealers and distributors in designated territories, focusing on hitting sales targets and KPIs. You will guide and support field activities to optimize dealer performance and ensure superior service.

• Must have own car and travel daily.
• At least 6 years of outdoor/field sales experience in telco/FMCG/retail or related industry and 3 years in managing a team.
• Able to work aggressively with dealers to meet sales targets.
• Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle ad hoc tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales team and coordinate with distributors to achieve KPIs.
• Conduct daily dealer visits to provide service and build relationships.
• Grow prepaid and postpaid dealer network; recruit new dealers.
• Execute sales strategy and promotions to expand U Mobile products.
• Provide training on system activations, products, and POSM.

Job Summary

• To lead sales team and work closely with distributors in handling dealers’ portfolios in assigned areas & territories, with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• Lead sales team and work closely with distributors in planning & guiding to achieve KPIs assigned.
• To conduct daily visit existing dealers stores that sell U Mobile products to provide service, support and build relationship within the assigned areas.
• To build and drive the growth of prepaid & postpaid U Mobile active dealers target and proactively recruit potential dealers by:
  • Continue deepening dealer’s loyalty through activations (Prepaid with plans and Postpaid).
  • Perform trade events, visit and provide tactical ground support to ensure optimum sales performance.
  • Vigilant to market movement through market intelligence.
• Ensuring dealers have proper knowledge and training on:
  • System : Genuine and accurate activations through control system & system knowledge.
  • Product : Full range of products.
  • How to Sell : Accurate and correct information given.
  • Incentives / Pyramid : Proper guidance in building loyalty.
  • POSM : Latest & up to date POSM.
• To execute and monitor effectiveness of sales strategy and promotion plan to support expansion of U Mobile product & services in assigned areas & territories.

About You

• Education: Minimum SPM/Senior UEC or anything equivalent with a passing result.
• Must be based in Johor Bahru.
• Must have own car and willing to travel daily.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in outdoor/field sales in telco/FMCG/retail or any relevant industry and 3 years of experience in managing team .
• Able to aggressively work with dealers to commit sales target given.
• Good communication/interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to cope with ad hoc tasks given.
