WK Consortium SB is seeking an Architectural Site Supervisor to be the primary on-site representative for all architectural works, ensuring finishing, material standards, and daily operations align with design intent and approved drawings from commencement through handover.
You will coordinate with C&S and M&E teams, manage subcontractors and materials, lead snagging inspections, track progress, and uphold strict safety and quality standards on site in Sabah.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Architectural Site Supervisor to join our project team. You will be the primary site representative for all architectural works, ensuring that finishing works, material standards, and daily operations are executed precisely according to design intent, approved drawings, and quality specifications from commencement through to final handover.
Daily Site Operations: Oversee daily architectural works on-site, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, method statements, material specs, and the project master schedule.
Finishing Supervision: Supervise all architectural and finishing trades—including wall plastering, painting, tiling, ceiling systems, joinery, waterproofing, glazing, and façade installations.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to maintain high workmanship standards, identify and track defects (such as tile lippage, paint flaws, or uneven finishes), and enforce timely rectifications.
Trade Coordination: Coordinate architectural activities smoothly with Civil & Structural (C&S) and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) teams to prevent clashes, rework, or delays.
Subcontractor & Material Management: Manage architectural subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring delivered materials match approved samples and mock-ups while monitoring proper on-site storage.
Inspection & Handover: Lead architectural snagging inspections, manage defect rectification, and support smooth project handovers.
Progress Reporting: Monitor work progress against schedules, track manpower deployment, and submit daily/weekly progress reports to management.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to site safety regulations, proper PPE usage, and safe work practices (especially regarding scaffolding and chemical handling)
Experience: Proven hands-on experience supervising architectural works, finishing, and interior fit-outs in construction projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural drawings, finishing details, material specifications, and building codes.
Coordination Skills: Excellent ability to resolve site clashes, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with consultants, architects, and project management.
