• Supervise and monitor all architectural and finishing works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Assist to prepare a method statement and construction methodology and submit to the Consultant for review and approval prior to the commencement of any construction activities.
• Coordinate and oversee architectural trades, including masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, ceiling works, waterproofing, doors, windows, and other finishing works.
• Ensure workmanship and materials meet the required quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on architectural and site-related matters.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
• Monitor project progress and ensure architectural works are completed according to the approved construction schedule.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and quality inspection records.
• Ensure proper material handling, storage, and installation methods are followed on site.
• Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates on architectural work progress and challenges.
• Assist in mock-up inspections, material submissions, and work inspections with consultants and clients.
• Ensure architectural works comply with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate defect inspections, rectification works, and project handover activities.
• Liaise with other disciplines such as Civil & Structural (C&S), M&E, and BIM teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
• Knowledge of CONQUAS, QLASSIC, CIDB requirements, Malaysian construction standards, and 5S is an advantage.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in supervising architectural and finishing works for building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, construction methods, materials, and quality control requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with local building regulations, authority requirements, and construction standards.
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and site inspection practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM/Revit software will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
