Job summary

ZALAM Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking an Architectural Supervisor to supervise daily architectural and finishing works at the construction site in Malaysia. You will ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements, coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain quality and progress.

The role requires reading drawings, using AutoCAD, and supervising subcontractors, with a focus on timely completion and defect rectification.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Building, Construction or related field.
• Relevant experience in construction/site supervision is preferred.
• Able to read architectural drawings and specifications.
• Able to use AutoCAD Software.
• Able to work independently and supervise subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site workers
• Check the quality of workmanship and ensure defects are rectified properly
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress and manpower
• Coordinate architectural works with structural and M&E works
• Check and coordinate shop drawings, material samples and site requirements
• Monitor material usage and ensure approved materials are used
• Attend site meetings and assist in resolving site issues
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site records
• Monitor work progress according to the construction schedule
• Assist with inspection, snagging, defect rectification and project handover

About you
