Job summary

Perkasa Tinggi Sdn Bhd is seeking an Experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction operations for high-rise projects in Selangor. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, ensure quality and safety compliance, and report site status to the Project Manager.

The role requires a Certificate or Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or M&E fields with a minimum of 5 years in high-rise construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working experience in high-rise construction projects.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Strong planning, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to be assigned or relocated to different project sites when required.

• Coordinate site operations, technical discussions, and subcontractor activities from start to handover.
• Review construction drawings and flag discrepancies for clarification before work commencement.
• Support compliance with contractual obligations, project scope, and construction requirements.
• Identify and report non-conformance issues on site, including workmanship or coordination problems.
• Conduct inspections with clients or consultants and follow up on comments and corrective actions.

Job description

Experienced Site Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily construction site operations, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring work progress, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and reporting site status to the Project Manager.

Job Descriptions

Supervise, monitor, and plan daily site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, with proper reporting and documentation.

Coordinate site operations, technical discussions, and subcontractor activities from commencement until project handover.

Review construction drawings prior to work execution and highlight any discrepancies for clarification before commencement.

Understand and comply with contractual obligations, project scope, and construction requirements.

Identify and report any non-conformance issues on site, including poor workmanship or coordination problems among trades.

Conduct inspections with clients or consultants and follow up on all comments and corrective actions.

Ensure proper coordination between architectural, civil & structural, M&E, and landscape works throughout the construction process.

Monitor and coordinate material deliveries to ensure smooth site progress.

Provide regular updates and work closely with the Project Manager on the project progress and site matters.

Carry out any additional duties or responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements

Possess a Certificate or Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or M&E related fields.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in high-rise construction projects.

Candidates with extensive hands-on site experience but without formal academic qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Strong planning, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Good communication and negotiation abilities.

Able to work independently with a high level of integrity and responsibility.

Willing to be assigned or relocated to different project sites when required.

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowing Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Computer literacy and experience in preparing progress reports will be an added advantage.

Candidates who can commence work immediately or on short notice are preferred.
