Job summary

A Hiring Company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an experienced L2 Application Support specialist to troubleshoot and resolve issues across business and enterprise applications. You will investigate incidents, monitor performance, and collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams.

The role requires hands-on SQL Server and MongoDB experience, .NET and Python skills, and familiarity with ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Application/Production/L2 support or similar roles.
• Solid understanding of Incident and Problem management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or L2 Support.
• Good understanding of Incident Management and Problem Management.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, .NET Applications, and Python Scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in an ITIL environment is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Exposure to API, Middleware, or Integration Platform support.
• Knowledge of Confluence or similar knowledge management tools.
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services environments.
