Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT support professional to join our team in Malaysia. The role involves assisting in onsite and remote installations for new clients and providing hands-on training on product features.

You will handle POS software inquiries, create user guides and assist with software customization testing, and support customers via ticketing system. Travel to overseas sites may be required. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT-related field required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Good command of English in written and spoken form.
• Strong SQL and networking knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Training will be provided for knowledge transfer.
• Assist onsite/remote installation of systems for new clients; overseas travel may be required.
• Take standby shifts to support users remotely.
• Provide onsite/remote training and product feature presentations to clients.
• Prepare software user guides and support customization requests including testing.
• Handle user support queries on POS and technical issues with remote troubleshooting.
• Track and resolve customer issues via the ticketing system.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirement

• Candidate with at least diploma in IT related field.
• At least 1 year of working experiences in the related field.
• Good command in written and spoken English.
• Good in SQL command and networking tools.
• Ability to multitask, fast learner and able to set priorities to complete work within deadlines.

Responsibility

• Training will be provided for job knowledge transfer.
• Required to assist with onsite / remote installation of systems especially to new clients to assist for project readiness (travelling to overseas may be required).
• Take up Standby shifts according to the duty roster to support users remotely.
• Perform onsite/remote training to clients and presentation to new and existing clients on product features.
• Prepare and develop of documentation on software user guide and software customisation request including software testing.
• Provide user support enquiries regarding Point-of-Sales (POS) and technical issues including remote troubleshooting and debugging of systems.
• Track, follow-up and resolve customer’s outstanding issues based on ticketing system.
• Any ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time by management.
