Job summary

OSIM Malaysia is seeking an IT Support professional with a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology to provide technical support for retail outlets and backend users, and to manage hardware, software, and network configurations.

You will join a fast-paced team, travel to retail outlets, communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin, and contribute to system documentation and training while ensuring security and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 years working experience in the related field
• Able to work in fast-pace environment and willing to travel to retail outlets
• Proactive, problem solving, communication skills, positive attitude and team players
• Knowledge of hardware and software management, experience in PC troubleshooting, IT networking, email configuration, firewall, web development
• Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay and Mandarin dialects

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to retail outlet and backend users. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Compile, prepare and maintain IT inventory list
• Study and identify the solution design to improve the company's operational requirements
• Prepare system documentation and instruction manuals for users
• Provide training and support to users
• Assist to improve and ensure compliance of system policies & procedures
• Collaborate with all levels of users in improvement studies for Workflow processes
• Liaise with IT related and office equipment suppliers, work closely with HQ on change requirement for hardware, software or system development and improvement
• Assist in other tasks as assigned from time to time by the management
