Job summary

IME Trading in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a capable engineer to provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support for CAD/CAM/CAE solutions, from design through manufacturing. You will develop implementation plans and deliver solution training to meet client requirements while driving quality improvements.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/IT/Engineering, at least 2 years in related fields, or fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in related field or fresh graduates welcomed.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• CAD/CAM/CAE solution knowledge is an added advantage.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality pre-sales and post-sales technical support to prospects and clients to meet company goals.
• Complete assigned projects/support within set deadlines.
• Develop and implement a training program to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with sales to develop the Implementation Support Plan and ensure success.
• Share product knowledge with sales and marketing to aid their tasks.
• Attend trainings and share knowledge effectively with others.

Responsible to provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support for CAD/CAM/CAE and end-to-end network solutions represented by the company from design to manufacturing. Develop Implementation Support Plan and prepare the solution training in order to fulfill the customers’ requirements. Ensure there is continuous improvement of the quality system.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• To provide quality pre-sales and post-sales technical support to prospect and client to meet company’s goal.
• To complete the assigned project/support within set deadlines.
• To be proactive and innovative in providing support and solution to deliver good experience to clients and achieve company’s goal.
• To provide full information to equip the sale and marketing personnel with sufficient product knowledge to perform their task.
• To work together with the sale personnel and clients to develop the Implementation Support Plan and ensure the plan is successful.
• To develop and implement a quality and comprehensive product and industrial-based training program to meet client’s requirement.
• To initiate pro-active activities so as to *escalate* value add to clients and ensure good clients’ experience to improve margins.
• To ensure company’s resources are well utilized and managed for productivity and returns
• To perform any other duties that the management may assign to you from time to time.
• To attend any training or seminar that the management sees appropriate and be able to share such knowledge effectively with others.

Requirements:

• At least Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering /Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or any related field.
• At least 2 years’ working experience in related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to utilize CAD/CAM/CAE solution is a added advantage.
• Good written and speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
