This position is available at our branch in Penang.

Executive / Senior Executive: RM2,800 – RM4,000

Assistant Manager / Manager: RM5,000 and above

Responsibilities

To understand and analyse clients' technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions, products and equipment.

To provide technical support and guidance to the Sales and Project teams in identifying suitable products and solutions for clients.

To prepare technical proposals, quotations, product specifications and other relevant technical documentation.

To review clients' technical specifications, drawings and requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs.

To liaise with clients, suppliers and principals to obtain technical information and clarify product specifications.

To conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations and provide technical explanations to clients when required.

To support the Sales team in preparing technical submissions and responding to clients' technical enquiries.

To coordinate with internal departments to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and meet project requirements.

To assist in troubleshooting technical issues and provide appropriate solutions to clients.

To keep updated on product knowledge, engineering technologies and industry developments.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in application engineering, technical support, sales engineering or a related engineering environment.

Basic knowledge of engineering systems, industrial equipment and technical specifications.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documents.

Good analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits and technical discussions when required.
