Job summary

Beaudrey Asia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an APAC Sales & Business Development Manager to lead commercial development across the APAC region from our Malaysia base. Build and convert opportunities, manage agents and representatives, and coordinate the commercial process with the Managing Director and Project Managers from early opportunity identification through to award.

Qualifications

• Proven success in B2B sales for engineered equipment or complex industrial projects.
• Extensive APAC market experience with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decisions.
• Experience engaging end users, consultants, EPC contractors, agents and reps.
• Commercial confidence in opportunity qualification, proposals, follow-up and negotiation.
• Technical understanding to credibly represent industrial equipment with engineers.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong CRM discipline and willingness to use company software.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the APAC region.

Responsibilities

• Develop a qualified pipeline of new and retrofit opportunities across APAC.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with end users, owners and partners.
• Identify projects before RFQs and position the company and its value proposition.
• Organise agents and reps with clear territory priorities and performance expectations.
• Qualify leads and RFQs and prepare clear bid/no-bid recommendations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on proposals and technical support.
• Ensure proposals are well positioned, submitted on time and followed up.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations within delegated authority.
• Maintain accurate opportunity, account and contact information.
• Provide forecasts, market intelligence and concise reporting to MD.
