Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is recruiting an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across APAC. You will develop opportunities, manage the full sales lifecycle and build long-term client relationships across multiple industries, collaborating with technical consultants to translate business needs into technology solutions.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in B2B sales, a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, strong communication and Mandarin fluency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management or related roles.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and new business acquisition.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, IT services or digital solutions preferred.
• Cloud technology experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and understand business needs.
• CRM usage and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, negotiation and closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand customer challenges and collaborate with technical teams to craft suitable solutions.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM records.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Pre-Sales and Customer Success to deliver optimal client experiences.
• Represent the company at client meetings and industry events.
