Job summary

Great Eastern is actively seeking experienced business development professionals to drive growth in our agency channel across Malaysia. You will support Agency Leaders, organise strategic events and tailor product trainings to boost awareness of our latest offerings.

In this role you will monitor agency performance, build strong relationships, identify challenges, and implement initiatives to achieve annual production and recruitment targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant life insurance experience in agency business.
• Proven track record in growing agency channels.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking abilities.
• Public speaking experience is valuable.
• Strong event planning and presentation skills.
• High integrity, accountability and teamwork.
• Proactive and adaptable to changes.
• Passion for driving recruitment momentum.

Responsibilities

• Optimise agency sales performance by supporting Agency Leaders to hit production targets.
• Organise high-impact events and activities virtually or in person to boost recruitment momentum.
• Plan and deliver product-based training for agencies on latest product developments.
• Monitor agency performance and build rapport to drive better production.
• Identify challenges faced by agencies and coordinate effective support.
• Take initiative to organise ad-hoc events to boost performance.
• Analyse strategies and tools to help agencies meet yearly goals.
• Formulate and execute deliverable business models for consistent performance.
• Handle additional responsibilities as required.
