Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets in Malaysia seeks a proactive Agency Distribution professional to implement, supervise, and monitor annual business plans for the agency network. You will promote products, secure cases, and engage agents to grow income and market share.

With at least 2 years in general insurance, a related degree, and strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills, you will recruit agents, resolve issues, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to drive results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in general insurance.
• Degree in a related field is required; insurance qualification is a plus.
• Experience in General Insurance is advantageous.
• Must be results-driven with strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement, supervise and monitor annual business plans for Agency Distribution.
• Service agents, resolve issues and recruit new agents to hit targets.
• Promote product features to customers and agents; provide quotations to boost sales.
• Follow up on commissions, recoveries and short payments for own agents.
• Support Diamond, Platinum, Gold & Silver Agents with meetings and sales activities.
• Drive agency recruitment activities to grow market share.
• Plan and run marketing activities/roadshows for the unit.
• Conduct motor/non-motor risk surveys or inspections for risk assessment.
• Participate in daily/weekly reviews with Branch Manager/HOS; approve motor/non-motor risk within authority.
