Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets is seeking a Business Development Manager in Malaysia to drive agency recruitment, growth of gross written premium, and renewal retention. The role emphasizes building and empowering a high-performing team, rigorous governance, and strong stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in business development, excellent communication, and proven strategies for market growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3-4 years' prior industry related business development experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop and monitor production.
Develop agency force.
Regular visit to business partners and collect submission & payment.
Manage agent's statement of accounts.
Continuous effort to train new & existing agents and other business partners.
Respond to various requests from customers/agents/HQ.
Ensure effective and efficient administration of day-to-day business operations in line with SOP across all support functions.
Ensure consistency with enterprise risk management guidelines.
Ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
Ensure good corporate governance is practiced and are being exercised by the branch.
Build an organization that attracts and retain talents to ensure critical business processes are highly efficient and effective.
Assemble and empower a high performing team.
Ensure regular communication of key imperatives
