Job summary

PRAMAC is seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead its Malaysia service operations, starting with a major Data Center project. The role requires coordinating commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, warranty management, and technical support, while building local capabilities and long-term Aftersales growth.

You will oversee a team of Field Service Engineers, manage contracts and spare parts strategies, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across Malaysia

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years in diesel generator systems, power generation, or critical power infrastructure.
• 3+ years managing service teams, operations, or large maintenance contracts.
• Experience with commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium- to large-capacity generator sets.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, generator control systems, and electrical distribution.
• Experience managing technical teams, subcontractors, escalations, and service contracts.
• Excellent communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical support activities.
• Oversee service execution for a large-scale Data Center power project.
• Plan maintenance schedules in line with OEM requirements and contractual obligations.
• Ensure proper documentation: commissioning reports, maintenance records, and handover documentation.
• Manage technical resources, tools, spare parts, and subcontractor support for project execution.
• Provide technical leadership to Field Service Engineers and coordinate escalations with global engineering teams.
• Maintain SLAs, drive customer satisfaction, and manage warranty processes.
• Identify opportunities for maintenance contracts, spare parts sales, and aftersales revenue growth.
