Pramac in Malaysia is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to commission, maintain, and troubleshoot diesel generator systems for a major Data Center project, with on-site work in Johor.

The role covers installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, reporting, and coordination with Aftersales teams, while upholding safety standards and on-call duties. Willingness to travel across Malaysia is required.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in diesel generator commissioning, maintenance, or technical service.
• Good understanding of diesel engine operation, generator electrical systems and control panels.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience using electrical testing instruments and mechanical diagnostic tools.
• Good English communication skills and ability to prepare technical service reports.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Aufgaben

• 1. Installation Support & Commissioning: conduct pre-commissioning inspections and verify installation readiness.
• 2. Preventive Maintenance: inspect and maintain diesel engines, cooling, lubrication, fuel, batteries, and control panels.
• 3. Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting: diagnose and repair faults, support root cause analysis.
• 4. Technical Support & Customer Service: on-site assistance and coordination with Aftersales teams.
• 5. Health, Safety & Quality: follow HSE policies and ensure safe operation.
