Job summary

Bradken in Merlimau, Malaysia, seeks an After-Hours Supervisor to act as on-site decision-maker, ensuring safe, efficient production from melting to finishing and addressing bottlenecks with quality teams. You will drive continuous improvement and uphold safety and environmental regulations.

You will lead a production team, coordinate maintenance, and enforce ISO 9001 standards while maintaining high productivity through clear shift handovers and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Experience managing large cross-functional teams in heavy industry.
• Must be able to work on shift and in rotation.
• Familiarity with QMS and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site decision-maker to ensure safe, seamless production flow from melting through finishing.
• Address bottlenecks, coordinate with quality teams, and minimize downtime.
• Oversee production team and maintenance, assign tasks, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Monitor critical equipment, coordinate maintenance, and manage resources to reduce waste.
