Job summary

Bradken Casting (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an After-Hours Supervisor to act as the on-site decision-maker, ensuring a safe, seamless production flow from melting to finishing. You will drive efficiency, address bottlenecks, and coordinate with quality teams to meet targets while minimising downtime.

The role requires leadership of a heavy industry cross-functional team, shift work, and a strong focus on safety and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

Degree/ Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering or Manufacturing.
Experience in managing big cross-functional teams.
Experience in heavy industry manufacturing.
Able to work on shift and in rotation.
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

Act as the on-site decision-maker ensuring safe, seamless production flow from melting through finishing.
Focus on optimising bottlenecks and collaborating with quality teams to meet targets while minimising downtime.
Directly oversee production teams, including operators and maintenance, with clear task assignments and effective shift handovers.
Proactively monitor critical equipment, coordinate maintenance, manage resources and materials handling to sustain production and minimise waste.
