Job summary

Bradken Ltd. in Merlimau, Melaka is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee a team of production workers, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality output in a heavy industry setting.

This is a full-time, on-site role with morning and afternoon shift hours, six days a week, not exceeding 45 hours per week. Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader / Supervisor in manufacturing, especially heavy industry.
• 5 to 7 years in pattern shop (wood-base) operations (pattern making & core making).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of production workers.
• Monitor performance and productivity; implement strategies to optimize workflows.
• Provide hands-on training and coaching to develop team skills.
• Identify and resolve operational issues or bottlenecks promptly.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute production schedules.
• Provide regular progress reports to management.
