Job summary

Bradken is seeking an experienced Team Leader for its Merlimau, Melaka manufacturing facility. The role oversees production workers, ensures efficient workflows, and maintains high-quality output on-site in a heavy industry setting.

You will supervise a production team, monitor performance, provide hands-on training, resolve bottlenecks, and collaborate with other departments to plan schedules while upholding safety and quality standards. Full-time, on-site work.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology.
• 5–7 years in moulding/heavy industry experience.
• Proven experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor / Shift Lead.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control & resource management.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of production workers.
• Monitor team performance and productivity; implement strategies to optimize workflows.
• Provide hands-on training and coaching to team members to develop their skills.
• Identify and resolve operational issues or bottlenecks in a timely manner.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute production schedules.
• Provide regular progress reports to management.
