Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10+ years of overall work experience with at least 3 years in production planning or customer fulfillment in manufacturing or service environments.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement efficient planning and fulfillment strategies.

Role Overview

Aero Service Technologies Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Planning Manager for our facility in Port Klang, Selangor. This role is critical for our operations, responsible for driving end-to-end production planning and orchestrating customer fulfillment. You will ensure that our production schedules are optimized for efficiency while strictly adhering to our Safety, Quality, Delivery, and People (SQDP) standards. You will bridge the gap between production capacity and customer demand, ensuring seamless delivery in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Master Scheduling: Lead the development and execution of robust production schedules. Translate customer demand into actionable shop-floor plans, optimizing resource allocation, machine utilization, and throughput to meet critical delivery timelines.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze production bottlenecks and lead-time constraints, proactively adjusting schedules to balance load and capacity across the facility.
• Order Fulfillment Management: Orchestrate the end-to-end customer order fulfillment process. Serve as the primary operational interface, ensuring that production output is perfectly synchronized with customer delivery commitments.
• Inventory & Material Coordination: Oversee critical path material availability. Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to align material arrivals with production schedules, preventing downtime.
• Performance Analytics (KPIs): Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of planning and fulfillment processes.
• Cross-functional coordination: Lead production coordination plan with manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams to align daily operations with long-term business objectives.
• Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the planning cycle to reduce waste, shorten lead times, and increase overall process reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Overall more than 10 years of working experience with at least three years of experience in production planning or customer fulfillment roles within a manufacturing or service environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to develop and implement efficient planning and fulfillment strategies.

Desired Characteristics

• Prior exposure to aeroderivative turbine operations is a plus.
• Good communication skills, capable of managing both internal stakeholders and external customer expectations.
• Fluency in English (professional proficiency required).
