Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Executive/Manager for a leading manufacturing company in Sekinchan, Selangor. You will oversee end-to-end production scheduling, optimize inventory, and manage material planning to drive efficiency and throughput.

The role requires 4–8+ years in production/supply planning within manufacturing, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of production/supply planning experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, and leadership or stakeholder management skills.
• On-site work in Sekinchan, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Production & Master Scheduling: develop and optimize master production schedules (MPS) for on-time delivery and capacity.
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP): oversee raw material availability and balance inventory to minimize waste or stockouts.
• Capacity & Demand Alignment: collaborate with Sales, Procurement and Operations to align production with forecasts.
• Process Improvement: identify bottlenecks in planning cycles and implement Lean/Kaizen/5S improvements.
• Team Leadership & Reporting: monitor KPIs like Schedule Attainment, OTIF, and Inventory Turnover; report to senior management.
