Job summary

Based in Putrajaya, Malaysia, this full-time fixed-term contract offers exposure to global corporate actions standards and collaboration with a cross-functional team in a wealth management platform.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a Securities Operations environment.
• Good working knowledge of global practices in relation to corporate actions.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of Corporate Actions in line with SLAs for Equity, Fixed Income, Funds and Structured Notes.
• Review processes and initiate improvements via change requests and defects.
• Participate in strategic initiatives and testing.
• Handle cash and security breaks investigations and inquiries within set timeframes.
• Ensure all transactions comply with bank rules and local requirements.
• Provide relief support and cross-train across functions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate end to end processing of Corporate Actions accordingly to defined SLAs Products covered: Equity, Fixed Income, Funds, Structured Notes
• Review process flows and initiate process improvements via change requests, defects
• Participate in strategic initiatives and testing
• Cash and security breaks investigation Manage requests and queries within stipulated timeframe
• Ensure that all transactions are processed in accordance to bank rule, circulars, procedures and local requirements
• Provide relief support and other duties assigned and cross train on all functions performed with the team and across department

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Minimum 2 years of working experiences within a Securities Operations environment
• Good working knowledge of global practices in relation to corporate actions
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details
• As a guideline to ensure a reasonable time is spent in a role, you are expected to have at least 12 months of service in your current role for any lateral move.

Nice-to-have

• Familiar with Milvus, SWIFT standards and IMActions (or other Corporate Actions software)
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Fast learner for new processing tasks assigned
• Be able to work with minimal supervision
