RBC in Putrajaya, Malaysia, is seeking an Analyst in the CM Business and Client Services (BCS) to support Futures Front Office and Futures Clearing, ensuring controlled processes aligned with regulatory requirements. This role collaborates across fronts to maintain data integrity and timely reporting.

We expect 1–2 years of experience in Capital Markets, a diploma or bachelors in Business/Finance, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelors degree in Business or Finance required.
  • 1 years of experience in Capital Markets or related field.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end trade lifecycle in Capital Markets, especially Futures trading.
  • Understanding of cost flows related to Capital Markets activities.
  • Familiarity with front, middle and back office trading and sub-ledger systems.
  • Strong communication skills and structured thinking.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform operational aspects of CM FIC Futures functions.
  • Optimize processes with business and support functions to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as key contact to Front Office, Futures Clearing, IT and FIATech for Futures Execution.
  • Adhere to reporting requirements for management levels and align with business needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date Procedure Documents per RBC Standing Orders.
  • Collaborate with IT on data/application workflows and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform GL and Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Attestation to align bank books with systems.

The Analyst within the CM Business and Client Services (BCS), works closely with Futures Front Office and Futures Clearing teams, to ensure a controlled process for the following functions, are administered and in line with all internal and external regulatory requirements and standing orders.

Working hours are:

3.30PM-12.30AM

What will you do?
  • Perform all operational aspects of CM FIC Futures functions mentioned above.
  • Process optimization work with the business and support functions to optImize processes to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency and control.
  • Act as key contact to Front Office, Futures Clearing, IT and FIATech for Futures Execution functions managed within the team.
  • Adhere to reporting requirements for all levels of management, ensuring all business needs are met.
  • Maintain up to date Procedure Documents in accordance with RBC's Standing Orders.
  • Work closely with IT on understanding data/application workflows and establishing standard procedures, ensuring proper data integrity is maintained within all systems.
  • GL and Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Attestation ensuring outstanding receivables/payable within the banks processing systems are in line with the balances in the banks books and records.
  • Participation in the delivery of CM - BCS Strategic objectives.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related discipline preferred.
  • Individual with 1-2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of end-to-end trade life cycle functions /processes within a Capital Markets, Securities Trading, or similar environment, gained through experience Specific to Futures Trading.
  • Understanding of the flow of costs related Capital Markets business activities.
  • Good working knowledge of Capital Markets operational functions and processes including familiarity with front, middle and back office trading and operating platforms and sub-ledger systems.
  • A conceptual/strategic thinker and Strong Communication Skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and an ability to analyze information.
