Job summary

MR.DIY Group (M) Berhad is seeking a data and reporting assistant to consolidate data across warehouse, transport, and automation teams. The role focuses on improving visibility of operational metrics and supporting dashboard development using Excel and BI tools.

You will prepare meeting materials, track actions, and coordinate across departments while identifying data discrepancies and driving process improvements. Strong Excel and English/Mandarin communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

This role will support warehouse operations through structured reporting, data consolidation, and cross-functional coordination. This role focuses on improving visibility of key operational metrics, and supporting process improvements, including the development of consolidated dashboards.

1. Reporting & Data Support

• Consolidate data from multiple teams (warehouse, transport, automation)

• Manage report templates and enforce consistency across submissions

• Support development and upkeep of dashboards (Excel / BI tools)

• Identify and flag discrepancies, missing data, or abnormal trends

2. Meeting & Coordination

• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and pre-reads

• Take accurate Minutes of Meeting (MOM) and distribute on time

• Track all action items and follow up proactively with respective PICs

• Coordinate across warehouse, transport, and cross-functional departments

3. Process Improvement Support

• Support initiatives to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort

• Assist in system and data improvement projects (e.g. dashboard consolidation)

• Proactively suggest improvements to existing workflows

Requirements
