Job summary

Saint-Gobain Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Administration Officer to support manufacturing operations in Selangor. You will handle documentation, data entry, records, and coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure production runs smoothly.

This role also covers production scheduling, inventory control, and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. You will work with multiple departments to track performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative tasks and data management.
• Experience supporting production scheduling and inventory control.
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules and issue work orders.
• Enter and maintain production data and KPI charts.
• Manage inventory levels and procurement of consumables.
• Support quality control and compliance with standards.
• Handle administrative duties and inter-department communication.
• Track attendance and overtime.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly production reports.

Supports the manufacturing process by maintaining accurate records, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. This role involves administrative tasks, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Working Relationship

Data Management

Record and maintain production data, including daily production reports, scrap, defects, and performance metrics.

Update production reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Maintain and control all departmental documentation, including daily performance information.

Complete and update production and KPI charts daily.

Production Scheduling

• Issue production schedules and work orders to relevant departments.
• Track raw material consumption and manage inventory levels.
• Requisition and maintain production supply inventory, including consumable items.
• Monitor worker attendance and manage overtime records.
• Organize and track training sessions for all production workers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and implement approved changes.
