Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for managing all financial and accounting functions of the organization. This includes financial planning, budgeting, reporting, auditing, taxation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  2. Handling full set of accounts and perform month end closing in a timely manner within the account team.
  3. Handling daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventories, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and monitor daily bank balances.
  4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  5. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and records. Manage company’s financial accounting process and ensure compliance with accounting standard and practices.
  6. Prepare, monitor, and control the company’s budgets and forecasts. Identifying risk areas for improvement and drive the forecasting planning whenever necessary.
  7. Ensure effective cash flow management and optimize the use of financial resources. Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements for cost efficiency and profitability.
  8. Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions. Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  9. Responsible on human resources practices and processes (payrolls, benefits administration etc) by ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  10. Involving and assisting in managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the office by supporting the administrative works or any ad‑hoc tasks when required.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA) preferred.
  3. Proven accounting experience for at least 5 years in finance and accounting, with 2 years in a supervising role.
  4. In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software.
  6. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  7. Good organizational skills, high integrity, keen attention to detail and aptitude for problem solving.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative working style and team‑player attitude.
  9. Able to thrive in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven work environment.
  10. Able to write and communicate in English, Malay and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
