Job summary

Handal Indah Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Billing Analyst to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all income from multiple payment channels. You will monitor receivables, investigate discrepancies, and prepare regular collection reports to support timely settlements.

The role requires a diploma/degree in accountancy, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and experience in an accounting or audit environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – MS Word & Excel
• Experience in accounting firm or audit firm environment is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate daily or monthly collection reports from various sources and payment channels
• Reconcile collection reports against bank statements, system records, and accounting records
• Verify collections received through multiple payment methods, including cash, bank transfers, credit/debit cards, e-wallets, online payment gateways, and other collection platforms
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, missing transactions, duplicate entries, and settlement differences
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments
• Ensure all collections are accurately recorded and allocated to the appropriate accounts
• Track collections against invoices, billing records, and customer accounts
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly collection and reconciliation reports
• Maintain proper supporting documents and records for audit purposes
• Liaise with relevant departments, banks, and payment service providers to resolve collection discrepancies
