Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing Communications or a related discipline.
• Relevant corporate communications or public relations experience with media engagement and senior stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for press materials, leadership messages and reporting content.
• Experience with corporate website content, LinkedIn and internal communications channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate-level external communication plans supporting HI Mobility’s mobility positioning.
• Draft and coordinate press releases, media statements, corporate announcements, interview briefs and spokesperson materials for approval.
• Coordinate media enquiries and leadership interviews; maintain relationships with media contacts.
• Monitor media coverage and industry developments; provide reporting and recommendations.
• Maintain HI Mobility’s corporate narrative and consistent messaging across touchpoints.
• Provide corporate messaging and identity guidance to Marketing and other teams; ensure campaigns align with the brand.
• Review corporate profiles and leadership materials for clarity and brand consistency.
• Manage editorial content for corporate channels including website, LinkedIn, and intranet.
• Prepare crisis communication protocols, holding statements, FAQs and spokesperson briefing materials.
• Draft leadership announcements, executive messages, and town-hall communications.

Job description

Support the planning, development and delivery of corporate communications to strengthen corporate reputation, visibility and public trust. Develop clear and consistent corporate narratives across approved communications channels, working with senior leadership and relevant departments. The role focuses on corporate-level media relations, corporate messaging and branding governance, leadership communications and communications support during critical incidents. It coordinates with Marketing, HR, Investor Relations, Risk and other functional owners in alignment with respective functional accountabilities.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute corporate-level external communication plans that support HI Mobility's positioning in the mobility sector

Draft and coordinate press releases, media statements, corporate announcements, interview briefs and spokesperson materials for approval

Coordinate media enquiries and leadership interviews; maintain relationships with relevant media contacts

Monitor relevant media coverage and industry developments, and provide concise reporting and recommendations

Develop and maintain HI Mobility's corporate narrative and ensure consistent messaging across corporate communications touchpoints

Provide corporate messaging and identity guidance to Marketing and other teams, ensuring commercial campaigns or product promotions align with the broader corporate brand

Review corporate-level profiles, leadership presentations and official communication materials for clarity and brand consistency

Manage editorial content for designated Group corporate channels, including the corporate website, LinkedIn and corporate intranet, in coordination with platform and content owners

Prepare crisis communication protocols, holding statements, FAQs and spokesperson briefing materials with relevant incident owners

Draft and coordinate leadership announcements, executive messages, town-hall communications and HI Connect corporate content

About you

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing Communications or a related discipline

Relevant corporate communications or public relations experience, including corporate writing, media engagement and senior stakeholder coordination

Excellent writing and editing skills for press materials, leadership messages, corporate narratives and reporting content

Experience with corporate website content, LinkedIn and internal communications channels

Strong judgement, discretion, organisation and the ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables and coordinate cross-functional work under deadlines

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage

Experience in a listed company or public-facing, regulated service sector is advantageous
