Job summary

Sitoca Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking an accountant to manage daily accounting operations in Malaysia, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and timely reporting. The role includes handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and assisting with month-end closing.

You will prepare monthly financial reports, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain orderly financial records. Candidates with a Diploma in accounting/finance and at least 2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing.
• Candidates with full-set accounts experience are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments, receipts, and related documentation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accounting records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accounting records and documents are properly maintained and filed.
• Process and maintain payroll records accurately and confidentially.
• Handle the full payroll process, including salary calculation and other payroll-related matters.
