Job summary

Fragomen in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage invoice processing, payments, and vendor accounts. You will support month-end close, drive process improvements, and provide guidance to junior team members.

The role requires strong Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, Accounting, or Shared Services.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, vendor management, payment processing, and AP reconciliations.
• Experience supporting month-end closing activities and financial reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, expense claims and payments accurately and within timelines.
• Review and verify invoices for compliance with policies, approvals, and contractual terms.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure timely settlement of vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and assist in month-end close.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to junior team members on AP processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and data integrity within AP.
