SOODE (JOHOR) SDN BHD is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage invoice processing, payments, and vendor setup in a fast-paced finance department in Malaysia. The role supports month-end close and provides essential AP aging insights.

Strong Excel and ERP experience are required. Applicants should have a diploma or degree in accounting, be accurate with data entry, and communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; ERP experience preferred.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication with vendors and internal teams; able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing: daily booking, verifying, and coding supplier invoices; match with POs and receipts.
• Processing payments: prepare payment vouchers, ACH, or wire transfers; run payment cycles.
• Vendor management: set up new vendors, update files for tax compliance, resolve discrepancies.
• Reconciliation & reporting: reconcile supplier statements, assist month-end close, generate AP aging reports.
• Administrative support: filing, scanning invoices, and other finance tasks as requested.
• Performing ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
