Job summary

Wen Ken Group in Johor Bahru is seeking an Accounts Executive / Junior Accounts Executive to support the Finance team in daily accounting operations, closing, reporting and regulatory compliance. The role provides broad exposure across e-Invoice, SST, tax, transfer pricing and audit support.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance and is eager to develop their accounting and finance skills. Fresh graduates are welcome, with familiarity in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant accounting experience is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and comfortable using accounting/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure timely and accurate posting into the accounting system.
• Perform assigned AP, AR, CB, FA, GL, payment and other accounting activities.
• Carry out month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Maintain accounting records and support full-set accounts and financial reporting.
• Handle assigned e-Invoice and SST transactions, reconciliations and documentation.
• Prepare supporting information and schedules for tax, transfer pricing, audit and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with Finance procedures and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on routine accounting and finance matters.
• Support the superiors in reporting, compliance, process improvements and other Finance activities.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned based on operational requirements.

The role provides broad exposure across accounting functions, including e-Invoice, SST, tax, transfer pricing and audit support, and is suitable for candidates who are keen to develop their accounting and finance capabilities.

Key responsibilities :
